Salman Khan Welcomes ‘Real Life Munni’ Geeta As She Returns To India
This movie struck an emotional chord with the audience and it turned out to be the second highest grossing Indian movie of all time.

Geeta, who is deaf and mute inadvertently crossed into Pakistan in 2003 at the age of 11.
Kabir Khan’s directorial Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which discharged not long ago, earned enormous flourish amongst fans and faultfinders, particularly for its story. The film apparently inspired a real-life story when Geeta’s strikingly similar incident emerged.
Expressing his happiness over Geeta’s return, the 49-year-old actor took to his Twitter page and wrote, “Two countries have worked together to reunite a girl with her family”.

Geeta has not been able to recognize her family however, she has expressed her desire to meet Salman Khan, whose film played a pivotal role in bringing her back to India. Truth be told chief Kabir Khan likewise communicated his joy on Geeta’s homecoming.
