“They have every right to be frustrated”, Bradford said. Daniel is the forgotten figure in the Eagles’ quarterback drama, and yet, his role may be just as essential over the next two years.

Time will tell. Perhaps Bradford will light it up to the point that Wentz is an afterthought. Considering the circumstances, there might not be a quarterback better equipped to handle those responsibilities and possible scenarios. “I wanted to play well for the next two years, create that stability then sign a longer term deal and stay here for the rest of my career”. That’s pretty much what I’ve been working on: How much quicker can I get at this age? Guys are behind me 100 percent and thats all you can ask for as a quarterback.. “We’ve been talking all offseason and I have no issues with Darren”. His spot in the pecking order is also in jeopardy, and likely sooner with the rookie on his heels.
The Eagles haven’t been shy about naming Bradford the team’s starting quarterback and Chase Daniel the backup.
The holdout ended in an anticlimactic way, and now that Bradford is back with the team for OTAs, he says he’s realized Philadelphia is “still the best place for me to be”. “My thought process was, ‘Hey, it’s awesome”.
“I understand what it’s like to be in his situation”, Bradford said.
For the second consecutive offseason Bennett is skipping the first parts of his team’s voluntary workouts in Renton.
When the Philadelphia Eagles roll into training camp, they will come in with more questions than answers; especially when it comes to who will be starting at certain positions. He said that’s what A.J. Feeley, a former Eagle, did for him back in 2010 when Bradford was the first overall pick of the St. Louis Rams. Mostly because Bradford hasn’t shown in his National Football League career that he can be a consistent producer. But what he failed to mention even once.was his aspiration to help the Eagles move in the right direction, his focus on succeeding with the team or even a desire to win games. He signed a three-year contract with $12 million guaranteed.
“I just felt like I needed some time”, Bradford said.
It’s expected to take Wentz at least through this season before ultimately succeeding Bradford. That’s the message I gave to him. “But until it’s not, I’m going to continue to lead these guys the way I did past year and I’m going to do my job to the best of my availability”. So what makes him different? Bradford is the starter, but don’t rule out seeing Wentz get some starts this year as well.

Naturally, Kelly was one of the prime suspects, as he used to be the Eagles coach and he seemed to like what he got out of Sproles, who fits his fast, up-tempo offense. Wentz only started his final two seasons and didn’t face big-time competition.
