Sam Bradford quickly learning Vikings offense, could become fantasy relevant

He’ll have decent upside in this offense, but not enough to make him more than a QB2 for your fantasy team.

Titans coach Mike Mularkey says the team is preparing as if Bradford will be the starter. He isn’t ruling Bradford out, either.

Bradford will have been with the Vikings eight days when the team takes the field against the Titans.

Bradford, 28, said it has been challenging since he not only has to learn a new offense, but also must study Tennessee’s defense.

“I keep the same approach no matter what, ” said Hill, a 14-year veteran. Immediate action for Bradford is certainly possible, though.

It is Hill, after all, who is listed as the starter on the depth charts.

“I’m much more comfortable than Sunday, that’s for sure, ” said Bradford, looking back at his first Minnesota practice. At the same time, knowing where you are on the field, I don’t need that extra yard.

Shaun Hill to start over Sam Bradford?

The question then, is why are the Vikings acting as if they will let Hill start in Week 1?

Now, Bridgewater is out for at least the 2016-17 season with a torn ACL, dislocated knee, and other structural damage suffered in a non-contact injury last week. Thats the way he took it.”.

“Some teams asked for a first-round pick and a core young player”, he continued.

Talking to the press after Monday’s practice, Bradford admitted that he must adjust to his new environment, and fast. It just felt like the first day of school coming in (Wednesday) because that’s really when the week starts. But I do think at this point, on Wednesday, I don’t think they know which way they are going to go. A lot can change over the course of the week of practice. The two were teammates with the Rams in 2014, when Hill had to step in for an injured Bradford and start seven games. Bradford was second in line in those drills behind 36-year-old Shaun Hill.

“I don’t want to harness that aggression”, said Pederson. Remaining out were tight end MyCole Pruitt (knee) and center Nick Easton (undisclosed injury). The Vikings havent revealed the other injuries. The Vikings signed long-time Titans safety Michael Griffin after he was released from his deal earlier this offseason. Previously placed on the practice squad were OG Willie Beavers, WR Moritz Böhringer, TE Kyle Carter, OG Isame Faciane, RB C.J. Ham, DT Toby Johnson, CB Tre Roberson, QB Joel Stave and DE Stephen Weatherly, all of whom were in camp with the team and cut on Saturday.
