Sam Bradford wants out of the City of Brotherly Love
But Eagles coach Doug Pederson says Bradford was told in advance that part of his job would be grooming a rookie quarterback. But since they basically mortgaged their future to move up and select Bradford’s replacement, it would come as to no surprise that their supposed-to-be starter for the 2016 season is unhappy with the Eagles’ decision. The Eagles haven’t granted permission to seek a trade. As noted by Buffalo News, after next season, Taylor will become a free agent, which means there’s a big chance that he’ll move to another team once he sees a good offer. That Bradford was just going to sit there and take it?

The NFL Draft is upon us, meaning there’s no shortage of rumors, and there are plenty of teams monitoring the Sam Bradford situation.
Broncos general manager John Elway spoke with the media about his current quarterback (Sanchez) during a pre-draft meeting. Philadelphia saved a few million dollars in 2016 by avoiding the franchise tag, which would’ve paid Bradford $19.95 over one year. If you are Sam Bradford, why not take advantage of the fact that you are already a member of the Eagles and an National Football League quarterback? If the Eagles thought for sure he could be the franchise quarterback, he would’ve gotten a long-term extension from the beginning and they wouldn’t have felt the need to draft a new quarterback.
And this mess doesn’t even include Chase Daniel.
Roseman said Monday, in an interview with Comcast Sports Net, that he views Bradford as the Eagles’ starting quarterback.

Late Wednesday, 9News in Colorado reported the Denver Broncos “were in” on the idea of trading for Bradford. He knows that he will merely be a placeholder for the quarterback the Eagles draft and that does not sit well with him. Being forced to start a mediocre Daniel for a full season would likely cause people to want to rush Wentz into the starting lineup too early, which would defeat the objective of trying to groom a QB on the bench for at least a year. We’re guessing the development did nothing to change Bradford’s mind about wanting out of town.
