The “spyfie” he talks about his statement actually refers to a campaign from the company that will feature the world’s first ever selfie from outer space.
As for the movie itself, Spectre opens in United Kingdom theaters on October 26th and USA theaters on November 6th, and stars Daniel Craig as James Bond, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ralph Fiennes as M, Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, David Bautista as Mr. Hinx, Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swann and Stephanie Sigman as Estrella. Hence, Daniel Craig and some Heiniken. A high-speed boat chase ensues and a girl gets embroiled in the chase. For the “Spyfie” moment, Heineken has partnered with Urthecast to take ultra HD imagery using its camera on the Deimos satellite, now in orbit more than 350 miles above the Earth’s surface. Heineken’s “SPECTRE” campaign is being called the largest global marketing platform of this year.
Heineken’s association with the James Bond film franchise dates back to 1997’s Tomorrow Never Dies, with SPECTRE being the seventh consecutive film in the partnership.
If you think James Bond only prefers to drink Vodka Martini shaken not stirred, you might just want to take a look at the new Heineken ad with Daniel Craig as James Bond.
