QB Bram Kohlhausen. Entered the game in the third quarter and got the Horned Frogs back in the game. Mayfield appeared to be woozy after the hit, yet he remained in the game for the rest of the half.

Mayfield, upon his departure, was 9-of-20 passing for 127 yards and two touchdowns. The second half became a slog.
Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield (6) looks to pass against TCU during the first quarter of an NCAA college football game in Norman, Okla., Saturday, November 21, 2015. After taping up his left ankle, he returned to the game and had a season-best 72-yard touchdown run to make it 30-13 with 7:55 to go in the third quarter. TCU with a hobbled Boykin and no Doctson struggles to generate the explosive late-in-the game plays that had kept it alive in games at Texas Tech and Kansas State, and is reduced to playing catch-up for most of the night.
OU will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Stillwater for a Bedlam matchup. With 31 touchdown passes to five interceptions this season – and only two interceptions in the past five games – the Horned Frogs could have a hard time coaxing Mayfield into mistakes. Samaje Perine was the hero for the Sooners on the day, totaling 188 rushing yards while scoring a crucial second half touchdown that gave OU the cushion it needed to hold on for the win.
Along with Perine’s phenomenal rushing day, Joe Mixon added 90 yards of his own.
The Sooners outgained the Horned Frogs 536-390 on the evening, with running back Aaron Green (23 carries, 126 yards, one touchdown) representing the TCU’s lone source of consistent offense.
Oklahoma leads TCU 30-17 behind the running of Samaje Perine, who has rushed for 173 yards and two touchdowns. He was ineffective and replaced by Sawyer, who sparked the offense and earned the start against Oklahoma. However, even without Mayfield on the field for OU, TCU was still climbing uphill against Oklahoma. Kohlhausen likely benefited from having better opportunities, particularly late in the game thanks to TCU’s defense.
OU converted on a fourth-and-1 from the TCU 11-yard line when Mayfield, behind center, walked away to call a play down the offensive line.
