The items are being sold to bidders at the king of rock “n” roll’s Graceland home in Memphis and are expected to fetch a combined total of around $1 million. This expanded reissue, released to commemorate the 38th anniversary of Presley’s death in 1977 (he died on August 16), presents undubbed versions of every track, putting the focus on the man, not the arrangements.

All the auction items are authenticated, and are from third-party collectors and not from Graceland archives, the auctioneers said. The New York Post reported that fans of the late performer were also able to attend an auction Thursday that featured a number of items belonging to or used by Elvis Presley. She’s managing director of Graceland Auctions, which handles auctions for Graceland.
The Guest House at Graceland, located on Elvis Presley Boulevard north of the Graceland mansion, will open with a four-day event including concerts and other parties as well as the traditional ribbon cutting.
The limited edition stamp features a 1955 photo of Presley and includes his signature in gold ink.
One of the items with Tupelo connections is an Elvis Presley plush toy guitar, which was also signed by family and friends.
I think it’s going to do real well. Saks said his Elvis Presley stamps could sell for as much as $15,000 to $20,000 if nobody else managed to accomplish the same feat he did.
The gun was manufactured in West Germany in 1974 and has intricate nickel engravings on the barrel, trigger guard and portions of the grip. Another of the highly touted pieces, a jacket Presley wore in the “Viva Las Vegas” dance scene with Ann-Margaret, expected to fetch $30,000 to $50,000, only got as high as $26,000, and was pulled from sale. Selling price: $25,000.
The 1962 dark, charcoal-colored suit was worn by Presley in the MGM movie “It Happened at the World’s Fair”. Estimate: $20,000-$30,000.
