Samsung announces special Winter Edition Note5 with 128GB of storage
Well… they’re backtracking, sort of.

The discount and Netflix offers apply to the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Edge+ or Note 5. To make charging the phone a hassle-free process, Samsung has equipped this phone with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0, a technology that will ensure you charge the phone’s battery up to a significant percentage in just a few minutes. We’ll keep our fingers crossed, of course, but it’s best not to hold your breath. Priced at 999,900 Korean won (around $843), the new Note 5 will be sold through South Korean carriers SK Telecom and KT Corp and will be available in either Gold Platinum or Silver Titanium. The device will supposedly cost around the equivalent of $850, and you can expect to pay a hefty premium on top of that if you want to go that route.
Samsung is finally offering a 128GB edition of its Galaxy Note 5, though you’ll have to shop in South Korea to grab one. In the interim, the company has possibly realised that there are many who don’t find 64GB storage enough for their data (without microSD storage expansion), and for them, it has released the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Winter Edition. The move seemed quite surprising given the fact that the company’s Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge flagships announced earlier this year were being offered with the 128GB storage option. The device is fueled by the Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core processor along with a Mali-T760 MP8 GPU for graphics.

Other specifications on the handset include a 5 megapixel front facing camera for selfies and a 16 megapixel rear camera for photos and videos.
