Samsung courts iPhone switchers with $1 test drive
The handsets on offer include the brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+. All you need to do (if you’re in the states), is pay one dollar to get one of those gGalaxy handsets in your hand.

Samsung’s Ultimate Test Drive program created to let iPhone users try out its latest Galaxy flagships ran out of available devices in no time.

The new Galaxy phones are among the most powerful on the market.
With Apple’s next-generation iPhones just around the corner, Samsung is making efforts to attract more customers to its devices.
Using my iPhone 6, I went to the promotional site.
Unfortunately, as of this writing, it would appear that most of the test devices have already been picked up.
To take advantage of the test trial, users must sign up through their iPhone.
Samsung and Apple have been locked in a smartphone war since the first iPhone rolled off the assembly line years ago. After the 30 day period, you have to send the handset back to Samsung using the included shipping label. It does come setup with a data plan but Samsung has not said if it’s a limited plan or an unlimited offer for those testing out the devices.
“The response to our Ultimate Test Drive has been overwhelming and exceeded our expectations”, a Samsung representative told Re/code.
Though phone promotions are nothing new, with Sprint and T-Mobile offering discounts through their “iPhone Forever” and “Un-Carrier Amped” promotions, what makes this interesting is that phone maker Samsung itself is doing a promotion.

The recently launched devices in the market by Samsung are Galaxy Note5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ which aren’t just fancy names but are also extremely expensive.
