Samsung debuts new Test Drive program targeted at iPhone users
Samsung didn’t name the devices for its Ultimate Test Drive, but it appears the Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy Note 5, and the Galaxy Note 5 Edge are all up for grabs. Unfortunately the promotion doesn’t seem to extend to the Galaxy S6, which is a few months old but is the company’s standard flagship. Samsung also ships a cable that can be used to transfer information from one phone to the other. “In a bid to lure users away from Apple’s larger screen iPhones, Samsung released the 5.7 inch S6 Edge Plus and Note 5 last week”.

This trial program applies to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy S6 Edge.
As compared to the previous versions of the Galaxy Note series and the Galaxy S6 Edge handsets, the cost of the newly-launched Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Edge 6 Plus smartphones is much lower. If not, you can return the handset via an included shipping label. Anybody who decides to pay up and buy a Samsung phone after trying out a loan device will receive “even more love”, according to Samsung, but there is no explanation of what that may be. The test kit comes with an activated SIM card linked to a voice and data plan hosted by the iPhone user’s existing carrier.

Vice President of Product Strategy and Marketing for Samsung Electronics America, Justin Denison, demonstrates a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 at the product’s launch event in New York August 13, 2015. If you do a quick search online, you’ll see that other popular options like the Anker PowerPort and Spigen’s Wireless Charging Pad both come with significantly cheaper prices, $13 and $27, respectively. And they won’t like know about Samsung’s own apps or how its S-Pen and supporting software can be very useful. Samsung has also introduced the SideSync feature which can sync your smartphone notifications to your Windows PC or Mac.
