Samsung Execs are Now Wear-Teasing the Gear S2 Watch

Dubbed the Samsung Gear S2, we got our first official look at the new smartwatch during Samsung’s Unpacked event where they unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. The company has since teased the device a few more times online, but now we’re getting an even closer look at the upcoming smartwatch. Before then, though, a Samsung employee has chose to share a photo of the Gear S2 in the wild. Not long ago, Samsung released a Gear S2 teaser video, and some promo images (which you can also see below), but nothing compares to a real-life photo. The smartwatch will also feature Wi-Fi connectivity.

The rumored nano SIM card slot in the Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch will enable cellular networking, which will allow calling from the wrist and browsing the Internet without pairing the wearable with a smartphone.

Lucky for us, a Samsung exec is doing just that. We also see what looks like a pair of buttons to the right of the display.

Samsung hasn’t announced any of the Gear S2’s spec details, but rumors have suggested that it could have a Super AMOLED display, Exynos 3472 processor, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and a 250Ah battery.
