Samsung has filed a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for, “Infinity Display”, as you can see in the screenshot above. The dual-SIM phone runs Android Marshmallow-based TouchWiz and supports 4G LTE and Samsung Pay. Well, the documentation does not reveal much more details about the Galaxy S8 infinity display.

The results look promising as the Galaxy S8 scores 1916 in the single-core and 6011 in the multi score tests which were performed using the benchmarking site. The first foldable smartphone is also believed to be fortified with Super AMOLED display. Like previous Galaxy Note smartphones, the Galaxy Note 8 might share quite a few other hardware specs with the Galaxy S8 duo. It is yet unknown what kind of bonuses S8 Plus users will get over regular S8 customers, but knowing Samsung, it’s more than likely something impressive. Samsung does however, have a bad habit of not looking after their mid-range line-up of devices in terms of software updates.

The short 5-second video serves as further proof of these assumptions, showing off a black Galaxy S8 from all angles. The rear camera is situated in the top center while the Home button in the front comes with the fingerprint sensor embedded into it. On the front, it is a bit hard to identify the bezels. But consumers will be sad to know that the launch of Galaxy S8 will take a little setback. According to reports, the company has no particular reason for launching the device during the said date.

The Galaxy S8 is expected to launch within the month of April.

So the company will manufacture a total of 12.5 million units by April 2017. Samsung has announced the pricing of both the phones. It is safe to assume that the Korean electronics giant is being extra careful with the Galaxy S8 after the disastrous Galaxy Note 7 saga. Not only does the press have massive amounts of information, but they’ve also seen everything the device can do.
