Samsung Galaxy A9 To Launch December 1st
While it is a great-looking smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is actually unrecognizable when compared to both its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S3, and successor, the Samsung Galaxy S5, unless a thorough scrutiny is made. We’ve come across the Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) leaked photos earlier this month. Now, the Galaxy A7 (2016) had been certified by China’s TENAA, which sheds some light on its specifications and features. However, it seems like in the coming future, another Galaxy A flagship might also make its way into the market and according to GSM Arena, there’s a good chance that it will be the previously spotted and rumored smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A9. However, the certification doesn’t reveal any information on whether the smartphone is equipped with a fingerprint scanner or not.

On the GeekBench listing, fans can see that a device with model number SM-A9000 runs on a Qualcomm octa-core chipset clocked at 1.40 GHz of processing speed with a motherboard MSM8976, which is actually a Snapdragon 620 model. One primary concern coming from majority of Samsung users is that despite the fact that the company’s smartphones are packing as much RAM as an entry level laptop (4GB of RAM), memory management issues continue to plague thousands of users.
The device will feature Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will come with a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a 16 megapixel rear camera with auto focus and HDR, it will also feature Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC and Global Positioning System. AT&T has reportedly already started testing the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on its network, signaling the handsets will likely go on sale soon after their official launch.

Samsung faced harsh criticism when it chose to remove two popular features from its latest flagship Galaxy S smartphones and Galaxy Note phablets: removable batteries and microSD expansion slots.
