Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 Passes TENAA

This is extremely optimistic and a few tech analysts even speculated that at this rate, Samsung might end up releasing two flagships per year but given their recent “quality not quantity” policy, we doubt this is true. The model is most likely the Samsung Galaxy Golden 3, the next iteration of the flip phone series, which was leaked on the GFXBench site last month. GFXBench, on the other hand, had the measurements pegged at 4.6-inches. A flip phone is usually much thicker than your average handset, which is why the 15.1mm thickness of the Galaxy Golden 3 should come as no surprise.

Also, Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 will pack a 16-megapixel camera in the back, while in the front it should feature a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera.

Specs include Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 for the 18.4-inch display, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera (no rear camera), and 2GB of RAM.

As of this time, there’s still no word on when the new Samsung flip phone will make its way out into the market, and how much it will cost.

In comparison with its predecessor, the original handset weighs about 170 grams and measures 15.8mm in thickness.

The former launched in South Korea and China as a 3.75-inch dual-screen Snapdragon 800-based flip phone. It has now been certified by Tenaa. The offer is good on a Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ or Samsung Note 5 smartphone, according to a November 6 announcement by Sprint.

While there might be no such thing as a free lunch, free swag definitely does exist-if you’re interested in buying a Samsung Galaxy phone, that is. For the next two weeks, the Seoul-based company is offering $350 in free stuff for customers who purchase one of its flagship line smartphones. It looks like you’ll have to wait longer as the Samsung Galaxy S7 release date seems to have been delayed.
