Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016), Galaxy J7 (2016) Allegedly Pass Bluetooth Certification
Samsung has released a teaser for the upcoming Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones by announcing a Samsung Unpacked event on 21 February, one day before Mobile World Congress gets underway in Barcelona.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and the Galaxy J5 (2016) are now one step closer to market launch, as they successfully passed Bluetooth SIG certification. Last week we spotted the Galaxy S7 – model number SM-G930A (for AT&T) – in the Geekbench database, and today we’re touching on the same topic as model number SM-G930T (for T-Mobile) seems to have received the same treatment in Primelab’s backyard. However, recent leaks suggest this year’s models – Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge – will have different screen sizes of 5.1 inches and 5.5 inches respectively.
As our regular readers should be aware of, AT&T’s Galaxy S7 – which was benchmarked in late-January – scored 2,282 and 4,979 points in Geekbench’s single and multi-core tests respectively.

Like how it is with the S6 and S6 Edge, the S7 will feature a standard screen whereas the S7 Edge will come with an added curved display.

In case you aren’t up to date with the latest reports about the new device, I remind you that the S7 is expected to feature a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with Quad HD resolution, a new 12 MP BRITCELL camera with f/1.7 aperture, and a 5 MP secondary cam. Android 6.0 will likely be on board for both handsets. The Korean electronics giant was rumored to unveil three versions of Galaxy S7, with the other two being S7 Edge and a bigger S7 Edge+.
