Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime with Android Marshmallow, 3GB RAM launched in Vietnam

Samsung has finally joined the brands that offer digital TV smartphones with the newly launched Samsung Galaxy J2 DTV.

The Galaxy J7 Prime has a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back. The device is priced at 6,290,000 VND which translates to Rs 18897 at the time of writing.

On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime features a 5.5-inch FHD display, an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor running at a clock speed of 1.6GHz, 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone was listed on company’s Vietnam website with all the specifications and features of the new device. The Galaxy J2 DTV, as it’s known only for the Philippines, we don’t expect this device to make it out in other regions. For now, the phone is only available in the markets of Vietnam, and no clues have yet given by the parental company about its availability in other markets.

The smartphone is available in two color variants, either black or gold.

The date of Galaxy J7 Prime’s launch in India is unknown.

To start with the Samsung Galaxy J5 is touted to be sleeker and possesses lighter build as compared to the Galaxy J7 smartphone. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 4 on top to save the screen from scratches.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with resolution of 1080 X 1920 pixels.

More details also suggest that there’s a 16MP rear shooter present and its states that video recording will be limited to 1080p. It will also have a longer battery life since it will be contained with a 3,000 mAh battery. It also features an 8MP front-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Smartphone has got to offer Bluetooth, 3G, 4G, GPRS/ EDGE, W-Fi, USB-OTG, and Micro-USB and also supports LTE Cat.

However for those who are curious, the Galaxy J7 Prime is a slightly higher-end version of the Galaxy J7 that was actually launched earlier this year.
