Generally this is a strategy reserved for the same hero device, but here Samsung might be reacting to recent earnings in a brand new way.

During the past few years, Samsung has waited for the IFA event in Berlin before announcing its flagship Galaxy Note smartphone for the year.
Cast your mind back a bit and it was all about Apple versus BlackBerry (I know, hard to recall!) but, having seen off its early rival fairly swiftly, Apple now has Samsung in the cross hairs. What do you think that mysterious third device will be?

The Galaxy Note 5 images presented here also show us that the icons for phone, contacts, messages, internet, and the remaining app drawer will have something of a slight upgrade from their current look in Galaxy devices.
