The device will have 64GB of internal storage with support for expandable memory of up to 256GB, which will be accessible through the hybrid SIM slot.

With a curved, waterproof metal and glass body, the Note 7 borrows some designs and features from the popular 5.5-inch Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge, including the always-on display and “edge” panel of apps. Last year Samsung dropped the Snapdragon 810 due to its overheating issues, but Qualcomm corrected its mistakes and came back strongly with a Snapdragon 820, which has been used in a huge number of 2016 flagships, including the Note 7.
Wireless charging: You can quickly charge your phone with wireless charging. And, like the rest of the device, it’s also going to be IP68 water resistant (that’s sitting in 5 feet of water for up to 30min). There is also a 5 megapixel front facing camera with OIS.
The new “Secure Folder” is protected by Samsung’s hardware-level KNOX security, and can be unlocked with an additional layer of protection by using a passcode, fingerprint or iris scan.
When can I get it?
You can expect the pre-order on all four color variations of the Note7 to start in the next few days, with a release date of August 19th. You’ll be able to pick up the handset from Samsung directly, as well as Bell, Rogers, Telus, Wind Mobile, SaskTel, MTS, and Videotron.
The new Galaxy Note 7 and the new Gear VR headset are both available starting August 19th, with pre-orders beginning on August 3.

The note 7 comes with host of sensors besides Fingerprint which include Barometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor, HR Sensor, Iris Sensor, Proximity Sensor, RGB Light Sensor. The diameter of S Pen’s tip has now been reduced 50 per cent-from 1.6mm to 0.7mm-for a realistic feel. Users may not eventually use the iris scanner as much – at least not those who wear thick glasses or who don’t want to take the time to align with the sight of the scanner – but those who become accustomed to it may get to like this new technology.
