It’s that time of the year again when all the flagship smartphones for the year will be unveiled. The Galaxy Note 7 with its 5.7-inch Quad HD resolution display, is expected to boost its customer base in the Taiwanese market since the new gadget is equipped with more advanced specifications which are expected to attract buying interest.

The Galaxy Note 7 has the same metal and glass design as the Galaxy S7 and is 7.9-millimetres thick.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has a 5.7-inch, 2560×1440 518 AMOLED screen with the same Edge functionality as the Galaxy S7 Edge. The entire body is sleeker, making it more comfortable to hold. It comes in four colors: black, gold, silver and blue coral. As for the Commuter Series, it is a dual-layer case which will cover your Galaxy Note 7 on both sides, while still maintaining a slim profile. This enables the users to unlock their devices by scanning their eyes instead of fingers, which is the case of the Galaxy Note 4.
In addition to its fingerprint sensor, this new phone has an iris scanner. Samsung has not yet revealed the pricing for the device. To recall, the Galaxy Tab Iris tablet was the first Samsung device with the iris scanner feature. The Note 7 has curved edges on either side of the display to provide a comfortable grip to users.
However, this year’s approach is a little different; inside, the Note 7 is virtually indistinguishable from the S7 or S7 Edge.
To offer the feel of handwriting with a real pen, the diameter of the pen tip has been reduced to 0.7 mm, compared with the 1.6 mm of the previous version of the Galaxy Note.
Meanwhile, if there is one aspect of the Note 7 that outwardly disappoints, it is none other than the battery pack it houses. Its 64GB storage is upgradable via microSD card slot. Even though there will be procrastinators out there unable to make a decision whether it’s worth upgrading from the Note 5 to the Note 7 in the U.S., those in the United Kingdom will have no such issue. It will also come with regular assortment of Samsung suite of apps including the S Health 5.0. In June alone, the sales volume of Samsung’s smartphones grew nearly 50 percent from a year earlier. It will also help users enlarge text for readability and create GIFs from videos. One key feature is that the screen is curved. The Note is, of course, well known for its extremely smooth “S-Pen” or its little stylus which works with great pressure sensitivity on the surface of the device’s screen.

The combination means that if you ever need to, you could write notes underwater and pin it to your lock screen. “Powering a robust ecosystem, it is the ideal device for those who want to achieve more in life”, said DJ Koh, president of Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics.
