Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Explodes While Charging

The current lineup of Samsung Galaxy S7 series is tearing through the competition, literally turning the industry into a two-way battle between it and the Apple iPhone 6s/6s Plus. Starting August 28th, you’ll be able to pick one up from Best Buy.

Why the history lesson, and why am I talking so much about Apple? Following a massive flagship release from Samsung the tech community had some insane expectations from the upcoming Note device but those expectations were severely let down after Samsung failed to live up to the hype with the Galaxy Note 7. The company applied the same strategy as with the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, in the sense that the Note 7 variant for the Chinese market comes with Snapdragon 820 chipset.

In many other ways the Galaxy Note 7 outstrips the iPhone 6s. As a matter of fact, this aptly explains why the South Korean phone maker is struggling to cope with market demands for the device.

The Galaxy Note 7 does use Gorilla Glass 5, which is created to survive falls.

Samsung will release on September 2 an improved model of its virtual reality goggles Galaxy Gear VR.

The release of the Galaxy Note 5 was met with criticism, as Samsung had removed staple features like expandable storage through a microSD card slot.

Samsung saw disappointing sales of the Galaxy S6 Edge due to production problems. We certainly hope that this incident was just a one off and happened to one device only.

The unlocked Samsung Galaxy S7 in the 32GB variety will set you back around $600 bucks depending on where you pick one up while it’s edged brethren is around $750. Samsung has improved the Galaxy Note 7 in virtually every way it can, but it’s not flawless by any means.
