Samsung Galaxy Note 7 price – one big thing Samsung isn’t saying
According to Samsung, this new way of doing things is much more secure than the previous, but still, users of the Note 7 get to use the fingerprint scanner if they feel like. The company didn’t reveal how far along it was in the process or when the Samsung Pass iris recognition might roll out to individual banking apps.

Samsung says it skipped over the Note 6 in favor of the Note 7 name to “unify [its] product portfolio” and “minimize confusion”.
The enhanced Galaxy Note7 S Pen is more than just a writing tool – it is the gateway to getting more done efficiently and accurately. And this Note unlike many in the past, comes with one too many “firsts” to battle whatever Apple will have to unveil in September with the iPhone 7 Pro (or Plus). The Note 7 has the same IP68 certification.
While we’re still trying to grapple with the excitement that Samsung brought yesterday with the official announcement of their Galaxy Note 7, there has been a bit of confusion when it comes to the presence of the SIM and/or microSD slot. What could make users “wow” is its iris-scanning camera. The newer device’s S Pen is now waterproof and works even if the screen is wet, and has new features including GIF creation, quick translations, and ability to write on the device’s Always-On display.
The Galaxy Note lineup from Samsung is no longer the unique flagship it used to be.
Where the Galaxy Note 7 really differs from its Edge cousin though is new features, including a USB-C connection, a stylus and an iris scanner. The feature makes it possible to unlock the smartphone simply by looking at it. It’s compatible with the firm’s Knox security suite, and provides authentication for services such as Samsung Pay. You’ll also need to buy your GS7, GS7 edge, or Note 5 on an EIP.
The Galaxy Note 7 has the same 5.7-inch QHD Super-AMOLED display (2560 x 1440 pixels), but with a curved dual edge display, just like the one on the S7 edge. While the Note 7 does not come with the very best specs in all senses, they are still cutting edge and top notch.

The talk-of-the-town feature of the new Galaxy Note 7 is its water resistance. Both devices are then set to hit stores on August 19.
