The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was one of the most highly anticipated phones of the year and it’s finally been announced. Samsung has provided users the facility to create their own preset, for example, if a user selects the Mid mode but don’t want the device’s display to drop from QHD to HD, then they can keep it that way.

As a quick recap, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 comes with a 5.7-inch Super Amoled display with a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels with the processing handled by an octa-core processor.
For the UK, Vodafone, O2, GiffGaff, Three and EE will have the Note 7 in stock with no official pricing yet. Unlike the S7, however, owners can control the handset’s screen in wet conditions with the bundled S-Pen stylus, which also ships with IP68 certification. Samsung is one of the most popular brands in India, and many Note series fans are waiting for the launch of Galaxy Note 7 in India.
Beyond that, the updates in the Note 7 are mostly enhancements, such as a stronger glass screen and more storage – 64 gigabytes, or double what Samsung usually offers, plus a slot to add more.
Samsung has included the brilliant rear-facing 12MP Dual Pixel camera it debuted with the S7 and S7 Edge earlier this year. For the worldwide model, the devices are equipped with the Exynos 8890 and 4GB of RAM.
However, we expect the upcoming iPhone 7 will still have a huge boost in terms of internal specs and camera features. The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and Galaxy S7 also both run on Android Marshmallow 6.0 and again feature TouchWiz on the top.
Note 7 is the first Note phone that uses USB-C charging, and the first Galaxy device with HDR10 video playback.

Samsung is also releasing an updated virtual-reality headset – with a dedicated home button, a wider field of view and a black interior to improve viewing. The Galaxy Note 7 is one of the first smartphones that come with an iris scanning technology for biometric identification, which means that users can unlock their phone in seconds through their eyes.
