Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Confirmed
The news comes just one day after an extensive report into the malfunctioning Galaxy Note 7 smartphone was released and four days after the inauguration of US President Donald Trump. The angry pixels appear to be in the same spot as well, which means there “could” be a hardware issue at play unless it’s something truly funky on the software side.

The issues disclosed Sunday ultimately led the company to issue two recalls for its flagship Galaxy Note 7 smartphone, and ultimately to stop making the device altogether. Samsung also brought in three outside firms – UL, Exponent, and TUV Rheinland – to also test the Note 7 batteries. Koh says the company’s own analysis of their users shows buyers of Galaxy Note devices are their most loyal segment of customers. The company is now preparing to launch its next premium product, the Galaxy S8, in hopes of redeeming last year’s setback. These preventative measures include an 8-Point Battery Safety Check and the formation of a Battery Safety Group that’s made up of external advisers and research experts. As fans of phones that aren’t on fire will recall, Samsung spent the back half of 2016 dealing with a little problem: its phones kept exploding.
Battery faults were already widely considered the culprit, but Monday’s announcement has been viewed as an attempt to draw a line under the Note7 controversy as Samsung prepares to launch a new flagship phone this year. “Battery B”, deployed in the second recalled Note 7 model, is now identified with a manufacturing defect.
According to South Korean site ETNews reports, Samsung Galaxy S8 is speculated to have improvement in the front camera and is expected to introduce autofocus for its selfie lens as well.
