On the work side of things, the new Note 8 some big improvements to its functionality, including the ability to pair applications and launch them in multiple windows with the click of one icon on the edge display.

“It’s a critically important launch for us”, Garry McGregor, Director, IT and Mobile, Samsung Electronics Australia, said. It uses the same Infinity display technology as the Galaxy S8 duo.

Here’s a look at all the new features. It’s a pretty special device not just because of its near-bezelless screen or because it’s the first Samsung phone to sport a dual rear camera setup.

Get your new Galaxy Note8 on Verizon and take advantage of some great deals including up to 50 percent off with eligible trade-in. This means you can animate something with the S Pen and quickly send it off to a friend. Its predecessor almost killed the high-end series, which is why Samsung can not afford to make any mistakes with its latest flagship: the Galaxy Note8 has to be great.

The S-Pen also has some fresh tricks up its sleeve; users can now take up to 100 pages of notes in the Screen Off Memo mode. The translate feature allows users to translate highlighted sentences in 71 languages. In India Amazon is one of the official partners to sell the device. There wasn’t much left for Samsung to reveal thanks to all the leaks and rumors we’ve seen over the past few months.

Galaxy Note 7’s 12 MP single lens with OIS has been replaced by dual lens 12MP sensors (wide-angle f/1.7, telephoto f/2.4) with dual OIS on the Note 8. Around front there is an 8MP front-facing camera with AF and F1.7.

By most accounts, the Galaxy Note 8 looks to be an incredibly solid smartphone – one that’ll likely earn Samsung the distinction of having the best Android handset for at least the remainder of the year (and probably through early next year leading up to the Galaxy S9’s arrival). The battery measures in at 3300mAh and it supports wireless charging as well as supports Fast Charging with Quick Charge 2.0. The Galaxy Note 8 will be the successor to last year’s Galaxy Note 7 and there will be no battery issues as seen on its predecessor.

In addition, Samsung confirmed that certain units of the second, replacement battery were missing insulation tape.

To regain the customers” trust, the company is believed to have enhanced safety checklist by using in-house “8-point battery test’.

To boost confidence, Samsung is also seeking certification from an outside safety lab, UL.
