Samsung has been dominating the markets with the Samsung Galaxy S series of phones, and the Samsung Galaxy Note series as a parallel flagship. The home button was made wider and narrower, with a new measurement of 18 x 5 mm (from 16 x 6.7 mm on the “Samsung Galaxy S6”). Its thickness goes up to 9.05mm including the camera hump, which is more noticeable than on the Galaxy S6. It reported its seventh consecutive quarterly loss in July 2015.
