If all of the leaks hold up by next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, we should expect to see the Galaxy S7 with the same 5.1-inch display pushing a 1,140 x 2,560 resolution.

According to Phone Arena, Samsung may be looking into merging their high-end smartphone lines with their cheaper alternatives with the S7. Those that love the Samsung Galaxy S6 and hope that the Galaxy S7 will be largely similar with a few boosts to performance, and those that want the whole hardware and software experience to change, top to bottom.

If you’ve been missing the microSD slot, there are rumours that the Galaxy S7 may sport one too!

Last year’s single core Samsung Galaxy S6 (pictured above) obtained a Geekbench score ranging from around 1250 to 1450, while the multi-core flavour clocked in the region of 4200 to 4800.

Like the previous Galaxy S7 models, Samsung will offer Android in the new handset. The latest version of Android will arrive on Google’s own Nexus series and then will slowly roll out onto many Android devices like those from HTC, LG, Sony, Motorola, and, of course, Samsung. The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are each valued at $351.57 for each unit shipped into India. We’ve heard about what the handset will come with as well as the rumored launch date for the handset.
