Samsung Galaxy S7 specs envisioned before Note event
A flurry of leaked details around Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus have already given us a glimpse to what expect from the event.

On Thursday, the electronics makers will host its second Unpacked event of 2015 to introduce its latest phablets, the oversized hybrids of a tablets and smartphone.
From what we have seen so far, the Galaxy Note 5 will boast a very Galaxy S6-like design with a sleek metal frame and a slightly protruding camera at the back.
Starting with the Note 5, fingers are pointing to a 5.7in, 2560 x 1440 “2K” display, with a ppi (pixels per inch) of 519.
With the near release of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, there are rumors that the device will return to basics. Though leaks in recent months have provided some information about the phone, the unprecedented photos have taken the online tech community by storm.
The new phablet does pack more power than its predecessor but it won’t come cheap for those who want to cop the device.
Keeping aside whether it is just a rumour or what, we are guessing it would be an official product from Samsung and can be used by just sliding the phone inside the case.

Industry insiders theorise the uncharacteristic timing is meant to head off rival Apple, which is expected to launch its iPhone 6s in September as well. The post has since been removed and the pre-order page it linked to has been replaced with an “Unpacked Live” page for the time being. The accompanying picture isn’t particularly groundbreaking: the S6 Edge+ looks as expected from previous leaks. The event will start at 11:00 a.m. ET, but doors will open at 10:00 a.m., according to CNET. “Jungfrau” seems to be a codename for the project, but the word “Hero”, outside of the parentheses, indicates that it could be Samsung’s name for the device (or a special marker for the company). Samsung has the “Jungfrau” codename listed beside the words “Add MSM8996”, a reference to Qualcomm’s upcoming, 14-nanometer, 64-bit quad-core processor.
