Samsung has a flip phone in the works

The company has not said exactly how much the Galaxy J3(6) will cost, so we hope it will be reasonably priced to make it a solid buy for consumers. It also features a curved edge back panel that is seemingly inspired by the design of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. We’ve had many years of brick phones dominating.

Interestingly, the design of the rear as well as sides of the upcoming Samsung flip phone is similar to that of the Galaxy S6. The SM-W2016 phone might end up the same as there is no news whether Samsung will be bringing it to the European or the USA market. The Samsung Galaxy S4’s Google Play Edition is exactly same as the original design of Samsung Galaxy S4 in terms of specs and configurations.

Samsung is not the only brand to embrace the retro looking phone. Like Samsung’s top of the line smartphones of 2015, the W2016 is built only with metal and glass.

This looks to be part of a larger strategy after the company’s upmarket strategy, tied to the Galaxy S, has produced less than desired results. Samsung has not yet confirmed when the Britecell feature will appear in its devices. Low light sensitivity at 1.0 µm should also ensure solid low light performance, supported by Samsung’s WDR Technology and Phase-Detection Auto-Focus (PDAF). Similarly, the cameras have been degraded as there is now only an 8MP/1080p main camera on the back (with a heart rate sensor) and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. In fact, Polaroid as well as Lomography cameras have made a comeback and have become increasingly popular to a certain market. The Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be unveiled on 21 February. The “Phase 2” list now includes the Galaxy J7, Galaxy J5, Galaxy J2, Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and the Galaxy Tab S 8.4.

The Galaxy Note 5 comes with a redesigned set of S Pen apps and features that let you do more on the go.

What we already know is that the sensor will be 17% thinner compared to the previous generation, which could help integrate it to the phone’s casing.
