Samsung has revealed its Gear 360 official release date in America

Samsung Electronics chose iris scanning for its first biometric applications on Galaxy Note 7 because irides are up-to-date most sure in security authentication, said Koh Dong-jin, president of mobile communications business of the South Korean electronics behemoth during a press conference after the unpacking event for new Galaxy Note phone in NY.

The Galaxy Note 7 is not a major overhaul when compared to the Galaxy Note 5. What’s the difference between it and Galaxy S7?

Samsung Galaxy Note 7: Samsung Galaxy Note 7 ticks every box when it comes to latest hardware specifications. Although Galaxy Note 7 is a larger handset, the gap closed by 16g previous year as a result of the Note 7 reducing by 2g and S7 adding 14g. There’s also a new USB Type-C connector to make it compatible with the Note7, though theoretically this could be used for further expansion in the future. Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Series has paved a flawless launching platform for Galaxy Note 7.

Not only is it a bit disappointing for fans of the Galaxy Note’s more adventurous past, it also makes choosing a bit more hard. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset in the U.S. and Exynos 8890 processor in all other markets.

The Galaxy Note 7 also runs with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has a 64 GB built-in storage capacity. Take away everything else, the S Pen is what makes a Galaxy Note a Galaxy Note. This means that the device is both dustproof and waterproof up to 1.5 meters under fresh water for up to 30 minutes.

Though 24p and 30p standards have been around for many years, for 3D movies and content in 360, it has been suggested that high frame rates such as 60, 72 and 96 fps are the new standards.

Priced at an astonishing $350, the Samsung Gear 360 VR is one of the most affordable 360-capable cameras out in the market. But we’re expecting the iPhone 7 to debut Apple’s next-gen A10 chip. The battle between Apple and Samsung has raged on for years, without a clear indication which company outperforms the other.

Unless you also have a vow to collect all Samsung flagships you can get your mitts on. The headset will go on sale for $100 the same day as the Note 7, August 19, at Best Buy, Amazon.com, BestBuy.com, Car Toys, Sam’s Club, Target and select Walmart stores. You’ll be asked for an iris scan, fingerprint or passcode to access documents you place in a Secure Folder.
