Samsung introduces its slimmest Galaxy Tab S2 tablet for Rs 39400

“Given our commitment to the Indian market, the Galaxy Tab S2 is another contribution of Samsung to the Make in India campaign”. The Galaxy Tab S2 also weights less, coming in at 389g compared to the iPad Air 2’s 437g. After the much-anticipated reveal of the Gear S2 smartwatch, an unknown device popped up in the event’s display for a few moments, named View, which ostensibly is part of the Galaxy tablet line-up.

Going into its specs, the Galaxy Tab S2 has a 9.7-inch super AMOLED QXGA (2048 x 1536p) display. It features a stunning Super AMOLEDdisplay that brings NOOK content to life in an unprecedented way with deep, rich colors and advanced screen technologies that automatically adjust display settings for stunning images. The voice-calling tablet runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and houses an 8MP autofocus main lens alongside a 2.1MP front-facing one. Packaged within the world’s thinnest and lightest metal tablet frame of its size, the Galaxy Tab S2 is portable enough to easily carry around all day. It will reportedly sort an 8-megapixel back shooter and a 2.1-megapixel front snapper. Recently, Samsung has produced its latest tablet that appears to resemble an iPad.

But we can still take a couple things away from it. For starters, a tablet with a kickstand like this is one you primarily see on a laptop replacement. The pre-orders can already be placed today.

Inside you’ll find the same specs as the standard Tab S2.

The Galaxy Tab S2 is packed with a 32GB internal storage and it is expandable up to 128 Gb with external card.

U.S. Cellular announced it’ll start offering the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 next Friday, September 11, in stores and online. “Then push them.” The company did not give out any detail of the product, though it did mention that the device will be launched in October. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 uses the Octa-core 64-bit Exynos 4533 processor coupled with a huge 3GB of RAM, while the Apple iPad Air 2 utilizes a slower triple-core A8X chip coupled with 2GB of RAM.
