Super-slow motion is also a fresh feature, going as low as 960 frames per second, and a new mode will see recording begin when movement is detected. And the way the S9 switches aperture modes is pretty unbelievable for a smartphone.
The Galaxy S9 is equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera with variable aperture that goes from f/1.5 to f/2.4 based on lighting conditions.
Users can also create new augmented reality emojis to share with friends, generated from a selfie. The user can translate languages, can count meal calories etc with Live Translation.
Samsung’s AR Emoji feature would directly be competing with Apple’s iPhone X feature called Animoji.
