Samsung is hoping to push users beyond the password with its Note7 smartphone’s iris scanning capability and a new authentication system called Samsung Pass.

The Galaxy C series of smartphones are exclusively for the Chinese market and the company did not launch the earlier Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 other than China.

If sales go well for this curved-display Note 7, Samsung might ultimately decide to stop making flat-display devices. But after this grand triumph, Samsung is presently reported to work on the successor of Galaxy C7 – ‘Galaxy C9.’ Though no confirmations are yet made by Samsung, yet there are gossipy tidbits that Samsung is chipping away on new flagship under its popular C series Smartphone which is named as Galaxy C9.

Announcing the latter in a statement, the company explained that Samsung Pass “can act as a master key for mobile banking services or website login on Samsung Internet, the default browser for Galaxy devices”.

According to a report by SamMobile, the new device will sport the model number SM-C9000 and will be codenamed “Amy”. Like 2016 A series and J series, Galaxy C series also feature unibody metal design and decent specifications. Samsung Galaxy C9 is expected to bring harmony between the two and release with a 5.5 inched screen. It could also come with a 16MP rear camera, as well as 32GB of internal storage.
