Like the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, the Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus will no longer have a user-replaceable battery or microSD expansion slot, and they will use the new premium metal and glass design.

However, in an unexpected twist, only the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will be coming to the UK initially, with the Galaxy Note 5 restricted to North America and key Asian markets at launch. Perhaps Samsung made a mistake, or the company plans on releasing these higher end versions, but not until a later date.
As expected, Samsung Electronics unveiled two new phablets, the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+, and also got strong support from all of the major U.S. carriers. For those curious as to what the Galaxy Note 5 will bring, one of those of course would be the S Pen. Last month, the South Korean company introduced both the first monitor that wirelessly charges your phone and the thinnest Galaxy phone yet.
Samsung yesterday announced the latest in its Galaxy line of smartphones. The Galaxy S6 Edge+, on the other hand, has curved display on both sides.
Samsung Pay lets users make payments by having phones send signals to existing magnetic stripe card readers, offering greater store coverage than Apple’s Apple Pay service which requires retailers to install compatible equipment. After all, the footprint is much smaller than even last year’s Galaxy Note Edge, which did have the S Pen included.
The only changes are an increase in RAM from 3GB to 4GB and a more powerful 3,000 mAh battery than the 2,600 mAh one in the S6 Edge.
Both the devices sports improved video stabilization when shooting from the front or rear camera and a 4K Video filming feature to record videos.

Preorders for Galaxy Note 5 start today and the phone becomes available on August 21st.
