Samsung promises to make the replacements soon for those consumers who have placed pre-orders and are yet to receive the device.
The firm said that those who received their Galaxy Note 7 before the official, and promptly halted, United Kingdom launch will have their devices replaced from 19 September.
For customers in the United Kingdom that have already bought a Note7, Samsung said that in collaboration with its partners and operators, will voluntarily replace this with a new one. The exchange program begins on Sept.19. We have been working with our partners to supply a replacement device to you.
The company has advised its Galaxy Note 7 customers to turn off their handsets immediately, return it to its place of purchase and use an alternative device until a remedy can be provided. If you are among them, you will be contacted by Samsung and offered a new Galaxy Note 7 smartphone in exchange of your current handset.

Last week, amid reports of exploding smartphones, Samsung confirmed 35 cases have been reported globally and that a battery cell issue is to blame. This means that the availability of the new Galaxy Note 7 handsets in physical retail stores in the United Kingdom would be during the last week of September. Samsung take this step because of the Apple’s iPhone 7 launch this month.
