Samsung may follow Apple’s lead and ditch the headphone jack

On Tuesday, U.S. telecommunications holding companies T-Mobile (NASDAQ: TMUS) and Sprint (NYSE: S) announced heavy pre-orders for Apple’s (NASDAQ: AAPL) new iPhone 7 mobiles. “Since Sprint began accepting pre-orders on September 9, new and existing customers have been placing orders for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus at a rate almost four times greater than this time past year”. It showed that the first weekend’s results, “shattered all previous iPhone pre-order records at T-Mobile”. Sprint said it is also seeing soaring preorder rates for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which are up more than 375 percent in the first three days over last year’s release of the iPhone 6s models, according to a September 13 announcement by the company. But the cheapest 32GB iPhone 7 will cost 599 pounds ($799) in the U.K. That’s equivalent to a price hike of 11% over the iPhone 6S, which was available for 539 pounds.

Switching from a touch to a press to unlock system had to be done thanks to Apple’s new “Raise to Wake” feature, which consists of automatically turning on the screen whenever the smartphone is picked up.

The latest iPhones may not be hugely different compared to last year’s models, but consumers do not seem to mind it. Instead, customers will be advised to order their iPhone 7 online.

The new Apple iPhones are being launched in phases across the globe.

The iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus is up for pre-order in several countries across the world.

iPhone 7 is up for pre-order and when it comes to pre-orders there are so many factors that account into a purchase. If you are someone that cares about benchmarks or winning at spec comparisons then get the Note 7 by all means (after the battery issues have been fixed though) otherwise, the “experience” of using the iPhone 7 and 7 plus might actually be a better fit. It won’t even hurt your tiny pocket to buy a new pair of wireless headphones, after all, the new wireless headphone known as the Apple AirPod will be released this October. Apple is also changing something people did countless times a day; it’s hard to unlearn years of training simply because the company updated iOS. The carrier does not say whether that is a new record for the iPhone.
