Samsung Pay supports 50 popular merchant gift cards including Babies ” R”Us and Toys ” R”Us, Bass Pro Shops, Domino’s, eBay, GameStop, Nike, Regal Entertainment Group and Staples in partnership with Blackhawk Network. You can store your existing cards, use them with your Samsung phone at the merchant, and even buy gift cards to give to others.

Those who did activate their Samsung Pay should check their Inbox for the gift card, reported Phandroid. Alongside enabling support for gift cards, Samsung Pay also now includes a built-in store where you can purchase them, either for your own use (why would anyone do that?) or as gifts for other people. Samsung Pay users can now redeem gift cards and buy new ones right within the app, and 50 retailers are already on board. I hate carrying a fat wallet and only carry my ID, a $20 bill, and my debit card in a small flat wallet.
The Best Buy e-gift card promo was announced as early as when the promo period started.
