Samsung Pay goes live on Verizon

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 flagship has been heavily rumored recently, including the fact that we might see it announced as early as January and that it might be available in three different version with three different SoCs, including Samsung’s own Exynos 8890 and Exynos 7422 and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820. Samsung finalized its designs for the handset last month and will reportedly begin production.

iPhone users curious how the new Samsung devices compare to your Apple hardware, then here’s a risk-free chance to find out.

While Samsung’s global market share fell from 26.7% down to 24.6% at the end of September, the company is still the most influential smartphone maker in the world, followed by Apple whose market share also dropped from 15.4% to 13.7%.

Making it stand out by standing up will be pretty significant for Samsung: a tablet this big needs to transition fluidly from lap-warmer to table-top titan in order to truly do battle with the likes of the Surface – and it’s probably just that bit too big to rely on a keyboard dock solution. The “Samsung Galaxy On5” on the other hand has an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. The camera has enhanced light sensitivity and noise ration for taking pictures in areas with little light. The bottom edge was initially released as a patent but it was quickly rendered, suggesting that Samsung could take up this approach.

For the phone’s housing, G for Games cites Chinese website, Weibo, that Samsung’s Galaxy S7 will be built with a magnesium alloy chassis which is stronger than the ones used in its predecessor, Galaxy S6.

Also, the back of the device has a handle, which if nothing else is a great throwback to the Nintendo GameCube. Additionally, the screen will be a multi-touch display with 1080p resolution, and the Galaxy view may come out with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
