The market availability of the Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 will vary according to consumer needs and the specific market situation.

While the S6 Edge+ has already impressed, folks aren’t too chuffed with the Note 5, which won’t be released in the United Kingdom this year. Samsung Pay, the company’s version of Apple Pay(AAPL) will launch in the U.S. on September 28, enabling users to swipe their phone instead of a physical credit card at retailers with NFC or magnetic secure transmission readers.

Those who are interested in using Samsung Pay will have the chance to do so in the near future, and it will come preloaded on the new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+, as well as the Galaxy Note5.

Both devices share identical specifications and will be available in 2 variants.

While Galaxy S6 Edge+ weighs 153 grams, Note 5 is slightly heavier at 171 grams. It comes with an updated version of Samsung’s stylus, the S Pen, which allows the user to “write” on the screen.

The maker says its new handset is capable of a full charge in 90 minutes, which is almost 30% faster than the charging on Samsung’s original S6.

That means with the removal of the microSD card slot on both devices – like the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge before – 64 GB of local storage is the most you can get with Samsung’s latest handsets.

Samsung Note 5 has a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with specs including a 16-megapixel rear-facing snapper and a 5-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calling.

“Today the journey continues in the large-screen category that Samsung created”, said J.K. Shin, Samsung’s head of IT and mobile communications.
