LG has confirmed it will be announcing its next flagship – the LG G5 – at MWC.

GSMArena spotted a photo on a retailer’s site claiming the phone will boast a 5.5in display and 4GB RAM, with memory of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB, depending on which you pick.

In other news TheVerge News reported, with a few days to go before the 2016 Mobile World Congress, now’s a good time to take a look back at 2015 and assess how the mobile industry has evolved since its last big get-together.

Organized under the theme of “Connecting Everyone and Everything to a Better Future”, this year’s event will focus on the role of mobile technology in global economic and social development.

Though Galaxy S7 is likely to look similar to Galaxy S6, some design led changes are underway.

Samsung is expected to be announcing its upcoming Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge at the event. Samsung may also improve the battery life of the phones by including larger batteries for both models, though neither appear to be replaceable like they were in older Galaxy phones. The metro strike is now expected on Monday, 22 and Wednesday, 24 February, and the bus strike on Tuesday, 23 and Thursday, 25 February; during this time, service would be operated at minimum required levels.

It remains unclear if Samsung will switch the USB port on the new devices to the emerging USB-C standard or if the company will instead continue using the now more ubiquitous microUSB, which is also the connector found on the company’s $99.99 Gear VR virtual reality headset created in conjunction with Oculus.

A GSM Arena report citing a leaked presentation for the phone says the Mi 5 will have a 5.2-incg 1080p display, a 26MP rear-facing camera, and an 8MP front-facing camera. S7 is likely to carry the Snapdragon 820 chipset replacing Samsung’s own Exynos. Traditionally the show has been associated with cell phones, but you can expect to see everything from accessories, to tablets, chips, fitness trackers, action cameras, VR and more.

At the Las Vegas show, there were plenty of activity trackers, sleep monitors and other devices to keep track of your health and wellbeing.
