Samsung phone fire in China not caused by battery: supplier
According to reports from China, some Galaxy Note 7 units purchased from the country’s Jingdong Mall had caught fire soon after purchase. US owners of the faulty Samsung Galaxy Note 7s may need to wait until September 21st for the new Note units, as told to CNET.

Battery maker Amperex Technology Limited (ATL) said separately on Monday one of its batteries was in the Note 7 phone in question, but added its joint investigation with Samsung determined the incident was not directly linked to a battery made by the China-based firm. “A very large likelihood exists that other factors gave rise to the heat problem”, it said in a statement.
The recalled phones were manufactured between July 20 and Aug 5 and distributed in China through a Samsung website as part of a test before the Sept 1 official launch, China’s General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said on its website.
In its initial announcement on September 2, Samsung did not say whether consumers could continue to use the phones without danger. But shortly after the launch, users began to report fires or explosions, in one case causing a blaze that destroyed an SUV. It was established in Suwon, South Korea in the year 1969 and now, it also explores the consumer electronics industry by producing computers and tablets which established a good brand name to the customers. It may take a while longer to wait for a replacement, however, it is better to stay safe at all costs.
Due to this, various airlines around the world have banned the use of the smartphone onboard.
Samsung Electronics continues to remain strong over the latest controversy involving its newest flagship, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. But, as it turns out, many Note 7 users already own the newer, safer version of the phone, but don’t know it. Customers can also enter their phone’s IMEI number online to confirm if they should request a trade.
The user, contacted by telephone, told reporters the Note 7 was bought on September 1 through JD.com e-commerce Web site.

Another account claims his phone exploded on Sunday, while he played a game on it. There are two major changes, over the affected units, that you should look for.
