Samsung says there are 3 reports of China phone battery fire
The company is now dealing with the recall of 2.5 million units in the United States and 9 other countries. The voting poll clinched a final conclusion of less than 10% to continue with Note 7 new model. The announcement followed an earlier warning advising Note7 owners to immediately stop using the device and power it down.

It will be recalled that Samsung has recalled over 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7 devices it manufactured recently citing several reported cases of overheating and outright explosion by users.
The company has taken this issue very seriously and is working on a temporary fix. The new Note 7’s packaging should also display a black box in the top right corner of the bottom label and for real peace of mind customers can check their phone’s IMEI number on this online checker.
The safe phones will have a green battery indicator.
How are they going to do this exactly?
Samsung also assured customers that the Galaxy Note 7s in China that went on sale after 1 Sept were “safe to use”.
As of now, it is believed that the update will only be rolled out in South Korea. Samsung told Mashable that each device can only be programmed to recognise one set of eyes and it is “impossible to trick” the device with a photo.
Sprint doesn’t appear to have announced an update for its Note 7 devices. And now it’s here for Galaxy Note 5, and Galaxy S6, S6 edge+.
To specifically say about Samsung this year is their year. The cause of external heating is not yet known or what exactly “external” heating means. Of course, we probably don’t have much longer to wait until the company begins selling their latest handset again, but we obviously don’t have any confirmed information at the moment so stay tuned.

It means, starting Wednesday, the company will have enough inventory to replace about 50% of the one million Note 7 devices recalled last week. This is a move that will bring the handsets in line with the 500,000 replacement models that Samsung has shipped over the last couple of weeks to users who had unsafe devices.
