“Samsung Electronics today announced the commercial launch of its new Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge around the globe including US, Europe, Singapore, Australia and Korea, starting from today”. The 5.1-inch Galaxy S7 and 5.5-inch Galaxy S7 edge (with rounded edges) are similar in design to the current S6 and S6 edge, but get improved processing performance of around 30% and 4GB of RAM.
Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge has added a bunch of new features including an “Always On” feature which utilizes the OLED to display the information on the screen nearly all the time while still being efficient with its battery power. “Dual sim devices are in high demand”, Eros Group chief executive officer Deepak Babani told Khaleej Times. No numbers have been given by Samsung yet, so we still don’t know exactly how many Galaxy S7/S7 edge units have been sold until now.
