Samsung Shows Of Gear IconX And Gear Fit 2
Was anyone here asking for a new Gear Fit?

The folks over at VentureBeat were given a first look at two upcoming Samsung Gear products; The Gear Fit 2 and the Gear IconX.

The person who is testing the products did not say how much they would cost at release – dates for which were also not shared – but it’s unlikely that the Gear Fit 2 will be priced significantly differently than the first Fit’s initial $200 MSRP. The oft-reliant Blass suggests that the new Gear Fit will be “slightly more curved and ergonomic” than the original model, though unlike its would-be predecessor, should include its own dedicated Global Positioning System chipset. As you can see from the photos, the Samsung Gear Fit 2 will share some similarities with the old one, but looks to have a better display, a bit more curve and a dedicated Global Positioning System module. In that time you would presume that Samsung would have made some advancements so the Gear Fit 2 would become the one to beat in the fitness tracking band market. Another key feature of the Fit 2 is the Global Positioning System chipset, meant to improve the accuracy of the distance-tracking features. The former is a follow-up to the company’s original fitness band while the latter is a pair of cordless Bluetooth earbuds. The control setup is said to be similar to the Gear Circle, and you’ll get a fancy charging case to as well. And they have 4GB of internal storage which you can use to load up some music if you want to use the earbuds without your phone. Sure, the Gear Fit 2 sounds like a bit of a refresh rather than an exciting upgrade, but those IconX earbuds have certainly piqued our interest.
