The latest Note is called the Galaxy Note 7. The smartphone was launched with other devices but the Galaxy Note 7 was clearly the most intriguing.

Samsung says you will be able to use both the smartphone and S Pen in torrential rain since they’re both IP68 water resistant, that means they can cope underwater for 30 minutes. Customers pre-order the device and they can get a free 256 GB memory card or a free Gear Fit 2.

The Galaxy Note 7, available in Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx, will arrive on Malaysian shores starting 19th August 2016 and will retail at RM3,199.

The Note 7 looks taller compared to the Note 5 because it’s width is around 3mm less. The Galaxy Note 7 and the Galaxy S7 have the same glass and aluminum body and premium build and design.

The Galaxy Note 7 is 7.9 mm thin.

Samsung believes its latest smart device will set a new bar in the ever-competitive industry. Even though there will be procrastinators out there unable to make a decision whether it’s worth upgrading from the Note 5 to the Note 7 in the USA, those in the United Kingdom will have no such issue. This will require users to use the “Smart Select” feature through the S Pen stylus. The iris scanner can also unlock personal data, including apps, notes, photos, that has been placed in a secure container away from the rest of the phone’s data. Its width is slimmer as well thanks to its bezel-less finish, though the device is heavier at 169g than the Galaxy S7’s 152g. There will be bundled offers for those who pre-order. The S Pen also comes with unique commands which let you do things like magnifying the screen and record a GIFs from videos.

Meanwhile, if there is one aspect of the Note 7 that outwardly disappoints, it is none other than the battery pack it houses.
