Samsung Smart Fridge Revealed With Huge Touchscreen
Samsung showed its home security cameras displaying their feeds directly on the TV. However over the years we’ve seen fridges get “smarter”, such as being able to maintain the temperature better, more efficiently, and so on. From leaks and pre-announcements, it looks like we’ll be seeing new smartphones, Smart TVs with built-in home automation hubs, higher resolutions TVs, new smartwatches and more.

Nuance’s voice and predictive text technologies can be found across Samsung’s consumer electronics experiences including the Samsung GALAXY smartphone and tablet portfolio, the Samsung GALAXY Gear lineup and Samsung Smart TVs.
More than that, it can tell you if the food you need is on sale and even recommend recipes based on the food you have in the fridge. In August, researchers discovered a way to attack Samsung’s RF28HMELBSR smart fridge and expose a user’s Google credentials to rogue hackers.
Samsung has also fitted the refrigerator doors with two stereo speakers that will broadcast news and weather from partner websites in addition to play music off the radio. Without a laborious setup process, the Smart Control can connect to the TV, cable boxes, set-top boxes, Blu-ray players and game consoles and control them just the same as their native remotes would. It will also allow you to control other devices that are a part of your Internet-enabled home infrastructure, including the South Korean company’s own SmartThings ecosystem. Samsung also announced a new portfolio of audio products, including the Soundbar featuring Dolby Atmos technology, as well as enhancements to its Radiant360 series.

Its’ 2016 line of SUHD televisions in particular will all feature an integrated IoT hub developed in partnership with SmartThings, making the TV a control hub for an entire smart home.
