Samsung unveils Tizen Z3 smartphone for Indian market

The device is backed by a 2,600 mAh battery. Features of the phone include an Ultra Data Saving Mode offering up to 50% data savings across the majority of apps and content. It also offers the My Galaxy app through either the Tizen Store or Google Play, and a lifetime subscription for the Mix Radio app.

“As a pioneer of Tizen platform, we have continuously introduced Tizen-based mobile devices, including Samsung Z1 and Samsung Gear S2, in our commitment to develop the Tizen ecosystem”, he said. Samsung fitted the Z3 with a primary 8MP shooter and a 5MP selfie snapper.

The Z3 costs roughly USD130 (INR 8490).

The Samsung Z3 will be available in India from October and can be had in black, silver or gold. There is no information whether he device will be available on other markets.

Even though until now it didn’t managed to create that much hype, Samsung’s own operating system, Tizen, is back in business.

However, due to a string of delays, the Korean tech giant veered its attention towards improving its Tizen stock in emerging mobile markets in South Asia, especially in India.
