Samsung wins trademark for ‘S6 EDGE+’

Thanks to a radical design change and cutting-edge configurations in the Galaxy S6 series of handsets, Samsung has regained market share it had lost in the USA, making it once again the No. 1 phone vendor in the USA.

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge (CDMA) comes with Primary camera is of 16 MP and the second camera is of 5 MP. Google has Samsung to thank as its Galaxy S6 was the driving force behind the increase.

Since the announcement of the Galaxy S6 Edge with a 5.1-inch display in March this year, there have been rumors of Samsung planning to release its bigger cousin, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus with a 5.5-inch display. Given the lack of Note Edge-esque features on the S6 Edge, the larger screen size is of questionable usefulness save for the coolness factor, an issue compounded when considering that the Galaxy Note 5 will presumably launch around the same time. The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will reportedly be coming with the Snapdragon 808 on board, rather than the Exynos 7420, which was Samsung’s original choice for its 2015 flagship smartphones.

It would be run by the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, as mentioned by Geeky-Gadgets.com, which would be “pre-installed out of the box”. The smartphone which may be the Samsung Galaxy A8, has already passed through the Federal Communications Commissions (FCC) and the Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center or TENAA.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 will come with the model number SM-J200F and now a device with this model number has appeared in some benchmarks. While Best Buy’s inventory reflects the current discounted prices (check the source link below), Samsung’s official website also deals with the discount.

The battery in the iPhone 7 is also expected to be significantly upgraded from previous versions of the device, as Apple looks to deliver a more satisfactory battery life.

Phone Arena also revealed that the tech firm would continue to improve this, noting that the 700Wh/l density should increase to 780Wh/l by 2017. As Mobile Choice United Kingdom points out, “Samsung’s propensity of releasing new devices one after the other usually makes some of them obsolete within months of their release”.
