San Diego Chargers vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
While the last-place Chargers are buried in the AFC West, the Jaguars are in the thick of the AFC South race.

The Jaguars, lead by second-year QB Blake Bortles, are fresh off a 19-13 win over Tennessee Titans in Week 11 and are on a two-game winning streak coming into Week 12.
San Diego hasn’t been too terribly turnover prone this season, but the Jaguars’ defense is going to force at least three turnovers today.
Previous year this would have been San Diego’s game hands down, but this season has the tables turned for Jacksonville.
After a Week 10 bye, the Chargers had their worst performance of the season, losing 33-3 to the Kansas City Chiefs and managing just 201 yards of total offense.
So, what can San Diego do to snap its horrid six-game losing streak and head into a December/January slate (five games) that finds the Bolts playing four of those five contests within the AFC West? The first game was between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Detroit Lions, although in essence only one of the teams seemed to turn up as the Lions routed the Eagles 45-14.
The 4-6 Jacksonville Jaguars host the 2-8 San Diego Chargers at EverBank Field on Sunday. All of the Jaguars’ weaknesses are matched by Chargers weaknesses. Things got so bad that starting quarterback Philip Rivers and starting tight end Antonio Gates had a brief verbal exchange on the sidelines, something that is rarely seen in these parts.
MILESTONE WATCH: Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers needs two touchdown passes to tie Joe Montana for 12th on the NFL’s all-time list with 273. Weddle will provide help to the back-end of the San Diego defense that has been roughed up throughout the 2015 season.
The game went right down to the wire with the Packers on fourth and goal from the eight yard line with just 22 seconds to go.

For the Chargers, a loss this Sunday would be yet another nail in the coffin of what has already been a season of disappointment, frustration amongst players and coaches, and missed opportunities.
