Philip Rivers struggled with his composure and not because the San Diego Chargers snapped a five-game home losing streak.

On Sunday, the Chargers played what might be their last game in San Diego.
After 55 years in San Diego, the Chargers franchise seems like the favorite to move up north to Los Angeles, or Carson to be precise. Rams owner Stan Kroenke is also pursuing a $1.8-billion stadium in Inglewood.
Gordon ran behind an offensive line which has been in a state of flux for the entire season.
The Bolts now go on to face the Raiders in Oakland on Christmas Eve.
“Tough, disappointed, frustrated, upset, mad, angry – any adjective you could think of right now”, he said. Rivers should be primed for revenge in this prime-time divisional game. He has an expert voice on all things National Hockey League and NFL, and now works as the Chargers beat writer for Sports Out West. On the season opener on September 3, Rich Gannon’s 10-yard touchdown pass to Andre Rison provided the winning points in a 9-6 win.
The Chargers scored their first touchdown in three home games midway through the first quarter. They tailgated as usual, but it was obvious their hearts weren’t quite in it. In fact, based on all the fans dressed in Miami Dolphins colors, it was obvious a bunch of the Chargers faithful dumped their tickets and stayed home. “We have to go out and play as professionals and men”.
He caught the other three: a 20-yard catch-and-run in the first quarter, which marked San Diego’s first opening-drive touchdown since November 9, a 9-yard shoestring catch to put the Chargers up 23-0 in the second quarter and another 9-yard grab for the final score late in the fourth. Miami was the going away game for the San Diego faithful and they loved every second of their dismantling of Miami.
Cotchery caught four passes for 47 yards, Finnegan made five tackles, Webb returned three kickoffs for 64 yards and Addison made two special-teams tackles in Carolina’s 38-35 victory over the New York Giants that lifted the Panthers’ record to 14-0 for the 2015 season.
“We didn’t make enough plays early”, interim coach Dan Campbell said.
Whether it is the last game in San Diego for these Chargers, nobody will know if its true or not until January when the vote will be taken in Houston.
It hasn’t been much of a rookie season for San Diego Chargers running back Melvin Gordon. He scored on a 2-yard run and caught a 9-yard TD pass in the second quarter. One of the best players ever to perform at his position got a curtain call when coach Mike McCoy called a time out and took out Philip Rivers, Malcom Floyd and Gates. Oakland’ Leo Araguz punted 16 times and Darren Bennett of the Chargers had 11 punts. Gordon was placed on injured reserve on Monday.

Melvin Ingram notched six tackles (four solo), adding two sacks and a forced fumble in Sunday’s win over the Dolphins. The Dolphins close the season by entertaining the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots.
