San Jose police fatally shoot armed suspect
Police conducting a “follow-up investigation” shot and killed a man they say reached for a gun Sunday night at a strip mall on Senter Road, according to Sgt.

Monday’s incident is the department’s eighth officer-involved shooting in 2015 and the fourth police shooting in a week. The man reached for a handgun and two officers fired their duty weapons, Garcia said.
“Shots fired”, an officer reported on the radio. His name was not immediately released.
Monday’s fatal officer-involved shooting in South San Jose came out of an investigation into a homicide Thursday on Lundy Avenue, according to a source.
The victim was identified as 38-year-old San Jose resident Christopher Maxwell Wrenn, Garcia said. No one else was injured.
Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that has left a suspect dead on Kirkhaven Court.

On August 10, Aaron James Phillips, 30, who was reportedly intoxicated and armed at a home on San Marcos Drive, was shot at by officers.
